Auditions

Leavenworth Summer Theater is a non-union professional musical theater company.
We welcome local, regional, and national talent. We do not have any AEA contracts available at this time.
Stipends are offered to offset the cost of participation.
We do not provide housing, but will help with rental options as needed.

Mark your calendar for the following dates:

  • Audition details, form, content, and in-person appointment platform available Feb. 1, 2025

  • Sound of Music child auditions, Feb. 15, 2025, in Leavenworth. In-person audition required for those under 18. Children are double cast and perform 10 shows.

  • Dancers 14 and over may audition in person for Carousel’s Louise (ballet emphasis). Attend in-person, 3:30pm dance audition on Feb. 22 in Leavenworth. Feb. 23 acting callback will be by invitation from selected dancers. No audition appointment needed.

  • Actors 16 and over may audition in person for The Sound of Music’s Rolf or Liesl, or Carousel’s Enoch, Jr. Adult audition appointment, and in-person dance call required.

  • Actors 16 and over may audition in person for The Little Mermaid’s ensemble. Adult audition appointment, and in-person dance call required.

  • Video auditions accepted from those 18 and older, from Feb. 14-17, 2025. This will include a requirement to complete our video dance audition. Possible video callback requests, Feb. 26-28.

  • Adult in-person audition appointments (preferred) available Feb. 20-23, 2025. These dates include individual audition slots, dance (Saturday), and callbacks (Sunday).

  • Offers complete by mid-March
